Medicare help with a friendly voice
Turning 65, retiring or just unsure where to start? A licensed Better Medi Care advisor will listen, answer your questions in plain language and help you understand the coverage choices available to you.
If you go 63 days or more in a row without creditable prescription drug coverage after you first become eligible, you may owe a Part D late enrollment penalty when you do sign up. Creditable coverage is drug coverage expected to pay at least as much as standard Medicare drug coverage.

Questions
Original Medicare (Parts A and B) is run by the federal government. Medicare Advantage (Part C) plans are offered by private insurers approved by Medicare and often bundle hospital, medical and sometimes drug coverage together. An advisor can walk you through how each works.
Most people first enroll during their Initial Enrollment Period, the 7-month window around their 65th birthday. Other windows, like the Annual Enrollment Period each fall, let you make changes later.
No. There is no fee to request a call or ask questions. Any costs would come from a plan you decide to enroll in, and you are never obligated to enroll.
Part D is Medicare prescription drug coverage. You can get it as a stand-alone plan alongside Original Medicare, or as part of many Medicare Advantage plans.
It depends on the coverage you choose. Your advisor can help you check whether your doctors and pharmacies work with a plan before you make any decision.
